Eric is the roster's confirmed slow pick: very low Athleticism and poor stamina, called out explicitly as not recommended for new players by the most systematic tutorial source we track. That's an unusual thing to be able to say with confidence about a character — so we say it plainly.
What low Athleticism costs
Athleticism governs run speed, stamina, and window dives. Low values mean losing chases you shouldn't be in, gassing out mid-escape, and taking damage on dives that sturdier characters shrug off. Against a Michael whose catches come from positioning rather than footspeed, a slow civilian's margin for error is thin.
What we don't know yet
His traits and full stat line haven't been read on screen — presumably his kit compensates somewhere (the roster pattern is trade-offs, not filler). Until his card is captured, this page won't guess.
Who should pick him anyway
Players who live in the prep role: repairs, fuse installs, staging at the escape — jobs where feet matter least and the defended-ground fundamentals matter most. New players should genuinely start elsewhere: Jennifer for speed, Bob for forgiveness in fights.
